CGA District 9 Gymkhana
SORRY - NO DOGS ALLOWED!!
We are happy to host the Redwood Riders, CGA District 9 shows again this season.  The Redwood Riders had their Annual August Show and BBQ here the last 2 years - what a treat it is to have them here! and WHAT A FEAST they put on.  There was more gourmet salads and plates than we could count.  Everyone pigged out and sat around and visited for hours.  If you like fun friends, good food, and riding your horse in gymkhana, this is a show you need to participate in!  Check out their website for additional details and contact information.

$20 per day fee for self care stalls (12x12 box stall with a 12x24 pipe run).  Horses that come in at night will be charged a 1/2 day fee (for example - if you arrive Friday night and pull your horse out Sunday morning - your stall fee will be $10 for Friday night + $20 for Saturday + $10 for Sunday a.m.).
$30 dry camping fee for the weekend.
$10 dry tent camping for the weekend.

NO ELECTRICITY or HOOKUPS of any kind for campers.  Our electricity cannot handle hookups. Sorry!
Portable panels are encouraged and welcome.
Visiting horses are NOT allowed in the barns, turnouts, or pastures.  Horses boarding for the weekend are not allowed in the turnouts or pastures and are only allowed in the barn they are boarding in.  This is so that our full time boarder's privacy is respected.

"If you have not been out to the Royal Oaks Arena lately, you need to go have a day of training or exercise there.  Tammy and Rico Pigao now have that ground down to a science and it was excellent.  It reminded me of the February 1994 race we hosted there when we had 209 riders show up.  They all came because that ground was famous for the best in the state at the time.  Guess what - it is now as nice if not better!" 

CGA District 9 Redwood Riders is a District of the California Gymkhana Association (CGA). Their home arena is in Boulder Creek but they sometimes come down off the mountain and run some shows at Royal Oaks.  District 9 is a small club, very friendly and family oriented.  Their September show had 50 riders many who camped over and participated in a spectacular BBQ Potluck.  The food looked like it was out of Better Home and Gardens!  Everyone ate until they couldn't eat anymore and then ate again for some home made vanilla ice cream!  All levels of riders are welcome at their shows.
