Where riding is fun and fun is riding!

Lessons:

I have been riding since I was 3 years old when my dad first sat me on a horse.  I was always one of those kids that was with her horse no matter what time day or night. Back in those days, my Ferrier would peel the shoes off my horse because I'd wear them down to nothin'.
 
After trying out several different disciplines, it was obvious that my passion was for speed events on horses.  Following my parents lead, I quickly became hooked on gymkhana and have competed in gymkhana and barrels my entire life.  I've been giving lessons for about 10 of those years.  I'm in the California Gymkhana Association's (CGA's) Hall of Fame twice, 2005 and 2007 on my horse Tobo and have a large assortment of other miscellaneous championship titles from several different organizations which I proudly display in a trophy case at my house.

I teach my kids to ride hard and play harder.  I work with beginners on up to those students who are now becoming my competition. We work on control and proper technique.  I believe that even though our horses are being trained for speed events, they should enter the arena calmly with all four feet on the ground and leave the arena the same way.  My students will learn drills that focus on things like; leads, roll-backs, side-passing, slide stopping, how to back a horse off it's bit along with many other techniques that will help them succeed in their careers as riders.
